Hi All,

I would like to share with you that SINGA is available as a package in
Debian mentors.

A request for sponsor is sent and it is waiting for a Debian developer to
check the package and release it.

To check the package, you can install it using the instructions from here:

https://wiki.debian.org/DebianMentorsFaq#How_do_I_
install_a_package_from_mentor.debian.net.3F

The steps are:

apt-get install devscripts
dget https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/python-singa/python
-singa_1.1.1-1.dsc
cp /etc/devscripts.conf ~/.devscripts
(In ~/.devscripts, DSCVERIFY_KEYRINGS="~/.gnupg/pubring.kbx")
gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-keys EA5ADDDE22E82EDD
dget https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/python-singa/python
-singa_1.1.1-1.dsc
cd python-singa-1.1.1
debuild -us -uc

To test the installation, try : python3 -c "from singa import tensor"

Best Regards,
Moaz

Hi.

Your upload of the package 'python-singa' to mentors.debian.net was
successful. Others can now see it. The URL of your package is:
https://mentors.debian.net/package/python-singa

The respective dsc file can be found at:
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/python-
singa/python-singa_1.1.1-1.dsc

If you do not yet have a sponsor for your package you may want to go to
https://mentors.debian.net/sponsors/rfs-howto/python-singa
and set the "Seeking a sponsor" option to highlight your package on the
welcome page.

You can also send an RFS (request for sponsorship) to the debian-mentors
mailing list. Your package page will give your suggestions on how to
send that mail.

Good luck in finding a sponsor!

Thanks,
