I have this error today - first one I've ever seen with SVN!
I was simply running update on a repo I checked out a while back (less
than 2 months), it's not had too many updates applied to it since then,
so it's not a massively used repo. I'm running the latest TortoiseSVN
(1.8.1) so I
The one thing I can think of that is a must tell is the sparse checkout
feature - none of the DVCSs have this, and it's a pretty damn useful part of
the whole.
