Hi Abhijith, Assuming this is on Linux, what does perf(1) show the CPU time is being spent in? In general I'm sceptical about htop's sampling methodology, but if it's real perf should clearly show what it is.

I am currently using dwm with cfacts,movestack,pertag,uselessgaps,attachaside patches. I noticed that htop is showing that dwm using 20-30% of CPU when switching tags after which it comes back down to 2-3%. Is it some problem with my setup or with dwm. Thanks.
