Hello, As GSoC mostly considers projects that will contribute to the codebase. I am agree with deployment power of Play framework as it supports duo. But what is the benefit and making difference of using Netty?? I mean to say people are using and wll use Tomcat ?? What's the addon

Using something like NIO-based frameworks has no value as far as I am concerned. We did a lot of work evaluating NIO-based and general event-based I/O frameworks, and the good old one-thread-per-conncetino blew everything else out of the water performance wise for good load-balanced / clustered
