There are some HTTP/2 concurrency bugs fixed in later versions that may explain
the crashes you have seen.
Testing with the latest stable 9.0.x and/or 8.5.x releases would be helpful.

It doesn't take long to crash. I can confirm RECYCLE_FACADES did not help.
Currently I am running stable config NIO2 + HTTP/2 + Java 10. Let me know if
you will need any further assistance.
