If I go to e.g. https://tomcat.apache.org/download-90.cgi, I'll get a bunch of links that point to a randomly-chosen mirror, but what I'd like to do is request e.g. https://tomcat.apache.org/download/tomcat-9/v9.0.12/bin/apache-tomcat-9. 0.12.zip and get a redirect to e.g.: http://ftp.naz.com/apache/tomcat/tomcat-9/v9.0.12/bin/apache-tomcat-9.0. 12.zip Does anything like that exist? If not, is it something worth building? I'm asking because I'd like to start scripting the release-builds, and it would be nice to fetch things like e.g. subversion with a well-known URL but not always hitting ASF directly (because mirrors are great!).
