I checked:
- git tag verified
- pgp signature matched
- checksum matched
- all components build with `./pkg -v`
- TO install and run on fresh Centos 7.4 VM

Signature validates and tests performed previously were unaffected by
the latest RC.

Yes, sorry, I used the template email. We were instructed not to create MD5
or SHA1 files anymore. We need to update the template in the wiki.

Hey, Rob, I'm not voting yet since I've only verified the checksums and
signature, but the email still mentions md5 and sha1 checksums -- only
sha512 checksum and pgp signature are there. I think the correct files are
provided and the email is incorrect.

[VOTE] Release Apache Traffic Control (incubating) 2.2.0-RC6

2018-05-11 Thread Robert Butts
Hello All,

I've prepared a release for v2.2.0-RC6

The vote is open for at least 72 hours and passes if a majority of at least
3 +1 PPMC votes are cast.

[ ] +1 Approve the release

[ ] -1 Do not release this package because ...

Changes since 2.1.0:
https://github.com/apache/incubator-trafficcontrol/compare/RELEASE-2.1.0...RELEASE-2.2.0-RC6

This corresponds to git:
 Hash: 8f4d1ee2aa25000a9d0e17bbf85286c4a7264eab
 Tag: RELEASE-2.2.0-RC6

Which can be verified with the following: git tag -v RELEASE-2.2.0-RC6

My code signing key is available here:
http://keys.gnupg.net/pks/lookup?search=0xFDD04F7F=vindex

Make sure you refresh from a key server to get all relevant signatures.

The source .tar.gz file, pgp signature (.asc signed with my key from
above), md5 and sha1 checksums are provided here:

https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/trafficcontrol/2.2.0/RC6

Thanks!
