Believe it or not, readable, reusable, and mangle-able URL's were such an important part of a project a worked on a few months back that I ended up having to go with a far inferior web framework instead of Wicket. Every day on that project I'd find myself saying, "Arrrrgggg!!! I could do xxxxx so much easier if I were just using Wicket!" but the URL thing was a make or break feature for the app I was building.
