Yes you can deploy WSO2 Identity Server on cloud environment, And you can
communicate it with on premise user stores through REST, LDAP etc. What you
have to do is write a custom user store manager to communicate with the on
premise user store via REST, LDAP etc.

Can WSO2 Identity Server be installed on the cloud and communicate with
custom data stores installed on premises (like through REST endpoints, LDAP
or JDBC stores) ? If so, how much time does the whole
