Hi Fazlan,

IMO we need to also mention this in the ML migration doc from 1.0.0 to
1.1.0.

Hi Tishan,

This is an expected behaviour since we have changed the model classes in ML
1.1.0.

@Rukshani can you please document this under [1].

Hi all,

ML models built with ML 1.0.0 is not compatible with ML 1.1.0. If we try to
use a model build with 1.0.0 against ML 1.1.0 features following exception
is generated. Came across this when testing ML extension for CEP.

Is this expected behavior? If so I think we need to mention that models

[Dev] DevOps Tooling for Microservice Framework for Java

2016-02-17 Thread Nanduni Nimalsiri
Dear Madam,

I am Nanduni Nimalsiri, a third year undergraduate at Department of
Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa. I would like to
take part in GSOC Programme 2016 with a WSO2 project.

I have went through the WSO2 GSoC Project Proposals for 2016. I am very
interested on Proposal 15: DevOps Tooling for Microservice Framework for
Java

and
I suppose that I would be able to contribute to this project. I have been
always looking for a similar project as I had done some research stuff
related to Kubernetes Open Source Project during my internship at WSO2. I
have some understanding on Docker and Kubernetes stuff. I have created
several blog posts on my findings. [1]

I suppose that my prior experience of working with WSO2 Microservice
Framework for Java (MSF4J) and Kubernetes projects would be helpful for me
to proceed with this project. During my internship, I worked with the
sample '*Petstore*' in MSF4J. During that project, my job was to make that
sample work in Linux environment, because it had been only tested in MacOS
X by that time. I used two approaches for that: Running Kubernetes via
Vagrant and Running Kubernetes locally via Docker. I have created a blog
post on that task. [2]

I am quite familiar with MSF4J and I have some kind of understanding on how
microservices are developed using WSO2 MSF4J. I have not used AWS or
Openstack, but I will try experiencing those technologies as well. I have
good experience in coding in Java which I have also used for most of my
projects at university.

I am not very clear on what deliverables that this project expects.
Regarding that, I have the following problems.
- What kind of a '*tool'* that this project expects
- What does this tool should actually do
- How should this tool connect with MSF4J and Kubernetes/Openstack/AWS

It would be a great help if you can clarify the above doubts.

After going through the references and documentations which have been
mentioned, I am planning to further expand my knowledge on the subject
areas. Can you please tell me how should I proceed with this project. What
tasks should I need to do to get started. Any suggestions are highly
appreciated.

Hi Tharinda,

You can refer to
https://github.com/wso2/carbon-kernel/blob/4.4.x/core/org.wso2.carbon.core/src/main/java/org/wso2/carbon/core/util/KeyStoreManager.java
It contains teh method to get privateKey as well getDefaultPrivateKey,
getPrivateKey(String keyStoreName, String alias)

If you need to do this in carbon runtime, you can use KeyStoreManager class
as follows to get public certificate of the keystore in super and other
tenants.

KeyStoreManager.getInstance(tenantID).getDefaultPublicKey();

Re: [Dev] Siddhi 3.0 query help

2016-02-17 Thread Tishan Dahanayakage
Ragavan,

I think we will need a custom extension here. Let me explain.
Siddhi can easily separate out events based on slot count. But here for
condition 2, we need to check count plus whether slots are subsequent.
These is no single expression which does that hence we need to look at a
multiple query scenario.

Multi query approach faces following issue. When you batch window and get a
count, only your last event will be propagated further with final count.
Which means after counting query you
will loose all the slot details making it impossible to evaluate decision
2.

So the proposed solution is to write a custom stream processor
extension[1]. Extension will collect events for a period of one minute and
then identify the condition which will match collected events. Then based
on that insert an additional field to stream stating condition. Then you
can write a second query to filter using that field and send to different
endpoints.

I am adding few of my team mates to the thread. They will respond if they
can think of a better solution

Re: [Dev] [ESB] [Redmine] Feature #4055 -JMS Transaction support for Store Mediator

2016-02-17 Thread Prabath Ariyarathna
Hi Dilshani.

Yes, title is little bit confusing. This feature was implemented for adding
guaranteed delivery capability to the store mediator. We achieved this by
using "Failover Message Store and Scheduled Failover Message Forwarding
Processor".

Can someone please help in understanding how this scenario relate to JMS
Transactions ?
We added JMS transaction between store mediator and message broker for the
gurenteed delivery scenarios. This is only effect to the JMS message store.

Is this "Guaranteed Delivery with Failover Message Store and Scheduled
Failover Message Forwarding Processor" scenario limited to JMS message
stores?
This is not limited to the JMS message store.

Thanks.

Re: [Dev] Siddhi 3.0 query help

Hi,

So the requirement is for one minute time per fbid

1. One slot received -> endpoint1
2. 2-4 subsequent slots received -> endpoint2
3. Everything else -> endpoint3

Are we on the same page?

Thanks

Hi Erandi,

You can refer APIM product integration test module for doing this[1]. We

Hi All,

I'm trying to run APIM Integration test cases(wriiten in testng framework)
through "Cloud Heartbeat system" and I'm using APIM testng.xml and
automation.xml files. Through my code I'm reading those files and going to
run integration test cases.

I have added below dependencies to relevant pom in my project. But still it
has some issues with resolving the class paths.

Can someone explain what are the exact dependencies I should use or is
there a matter with feasibility of this scenario?

Re: [Dev] Droping a Unique Constraint in a DB2 database

2016-02-17 Thread Chamila Wijayarathna
Hi all,

Still I couldn't came up with a way to achieve this target.

So as a workaround I thought of dropping all the UNIQUE constraints and
then adding constraints which were not suppose to dropped. It may be more
costly than our previously mentioned approach, I don't see any other way of
achieving this.

WDYT?

Thanks

You can do this with JMS transport. [1] [2]

But in your mediation flow only blocking calls needs to be implemented.
AFAIK MSMP does not support transactions.
