Hi, When I removed the annotation it still gets the 'ProtoBufServletContextInitializer'. Hi, The ProtoBufServletContextInitializer #onStartup method, now get triggered. The issue was due to an 'Unmodifiable List' returend by the tomcat 'WebappServiceLoader'.
