Hello Team, We really appreciate the work to release 3.6.4 as we have been waiting for it for some time (due to reload4j changes).
But at the same time, we were surprised to hear that 3.6.x is going to be EOL. As per Maven Central https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.zookeeper/zookeeper, 3.7.x and 3.8.x versions are relatively less adopted. Also, a lot of Apache projects are still using ZK 3.6.x or older. As we use these projects in our big data clusters, upgrading to 3.7.x may get difficult due to this.
