I have the eBay US ZTE Open and mine is also currently bricked. No matter which ZTE update ZIP archive I try to apply on the SD card, I get a signature verification failure. What's worse is that it seems to have lost the ability to respond to adb or fastboot. So the procedure at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/ZTE_OPEN#I_bricked_my_phone does not work - it just sits there "waiting for device". There are probably half a dozen threads on the forum about various ZTE Open brickage; I can go dig them up if you want. As it stands, the US eBay ZTE Open is "not a user serviceable device" - you can't easily apply ZTE updates or install a custom-built B2G on it without risking getting it into an unusable state. The ones that are being shipped by the carriers in Europe and Latin America may be working fine to surf the web and make phone calls but as a 'developer phone' it's pretty much useless. _______________________________________________ dev-b2g mailing list dev-b2g@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-b2g
