Hi,
a simple check for the value of \setupsynonyms[alternative=…] can be
usefull because
when the synonym is shown in the running text only a limited set is
allowed but when
you flush the list with all entries the \placelistofsynonyms command
accepts all arguments
(e.g. serried or left) from
