it seems a bit random to me.
I expects, that the New Layout has language-specific text in those images.
Right?
So every user is from now on forced to upload one image twice or two images,
because the new default layout has text in the imag

at the moment we have no category thumbnails in oxid, or?
Is this new in oxid 4.5? why only thumbnails and not multilingual category
pics, icons and thumbs?

For this we added multilingual fields oxthumb_1, oxthumb_2 and oxthumb_3 in
