make sure you upload files in binary mode. You maybe use filezilla for
uploading
and default is set to text instead of binary.

Try to reinstall the file(s) from the installation-file (zip). Make sure you
have the correct version of the shop (PHP 5.2 vs. 5.3). Try to execute some
other zend-encoded files to ensure it is not the host, that has the problem.
