Two UX issues have arised during the UX improvements to the Log Tools app done in LOGTOOLS-6: 
 

first, the editor in the Levels tab is not showing the name of the log file, unless it is set to be editable, which it shouldn't. As mentioned in com.vaadin.ui.Grid.Column#setEditable, this will change in a future Vaadin release.
 
 
 

second issue will also potentially be fixed in a Vaadin update. When the Log Levels editor is open and the user leaves the tab for another, then when he comes back, the editor has disappeared and he can't edit any level but the one he was actually editing. No workaround was found for this one, and it would have been ugly anyway. Therefore, we leave it on the side for now, especially as it should only be a really minor issue.

Currently the searchTemplatingFunctions return results for content that is in a different language. This is unexpected and not desired. 
To reproduce:  on the travel demo, set to english, search on "dolomiten" or "bike". You will get a search result for tours which contain that text in the german language text. The result will show the english title, and the german text. If you click on the link you go to the page in English.

BaseSyndicatorImpl logs an INFO level message when activation has succeeded, but only logs the path of the activated node:

 When validation of a field placed inside a composite field fails notifications are not working correctly.Use-case 1 - field with validator configured under composite field:- when validation fails dialog is not saved and displays the generic error on top but user is not notified at concrete field with the specific error message.Use-case 2 - required field without validator configured under composite field:- correct message is displayed ("This field is required.") but is tied to the composite field, not the concrete inner field.Use-case 3 - required field with validator configured under composite field:- if the field was blank before and validation failed, error message for required field missing ("This field is required.") is displayed. Same as in use-case 2 it's tied to whole composite field.- if the field was not blank the same behavior as in use-case 1 will occur.Correct behavior - error messages should be displayed under concrete fields and not be covered by required files missing message.  To reproduce with STK demo:* assign demo-project-editors role to peter* become peter* publish /demo-project* you should find the pulse badge not increased and no new task visible in there. It gets refreshed only manually, e.g. if you forth/back switch tabs within Pulse.  Update:The problem is that the {{LocalTaskDispatcherManager#getAllRecipients}} doesn't seem to resolve groups transitively.So peter is member of 'demo-project-publisher' and transitively member of 'publisher' group: He should receive the task-event.The reason why this works in the new demo is because the group was set up wrong in the first place. 'travel-demo-publisher' is not part of 'publisher' group but the publish-task is assigned to both groups.  That's why it works there.
