I while ago I had an issue regarding the access to the Firefox
security db from the external app while Firefox was running. Basically
it was concerned to the fact that Mozilla Security database in Firefox
version 3 supported multiple readers and the only one writer

By default, it is still the old single-process cert8 and key3 DBs
