The plan was to (try and) provide swag for as many of our projects as
possible.
There seems to be general consensus that this is OK to do in ComDev's
name - I just need to
So I found this interesting note last night while reviewing fundraising
ideas:
" I meant to mention this a while back, but keep forgetting.
There's a growing variety of ASF swag available at

Brand, and all profits go directly
Some more ideas:
* What are the different areas of operation? (i.e. devops, comdev, legal,
infra, etc.) and how to get involved in each
* Foundation history
* Where and how are foundation documents stored
* Pro tips like the ins and outs of Whimsy.

If your time budget allows, brief interviews with current and past
Board members would be fantastic...you might get slightly divergent
views but that's part of the beauty of how Apache works ;-)

It might be worth collecting ideas or statements here for each topic,
which you as the narrator can then intersperse with bits of interviews
to get a consistent mess

I like etherpad too but that limit is why I use the ASF g suite with a doc
or sheet. For those who want, you can request an account.

I tried to add myself as a backup volunteer and realized I don't have an
account. After creating an account, I cannot edit the page. How does one
get Karma to the comdev wiki? Is this open to PMC only? My account is
the usual 'druggeri' account name.

Hi, folks;
I went ahead and did this manually, but I was wondering if there is a
programmatic way to do this? I'm working to reduce the number of manual
tasks in our release process. I apologize if there's an obvious answer that
I've missed, which always seems to be the case with these tools :-)
I have appealed for the site doap.rdf to be automatically incorporated. So
far no luck.

Hello Willem --thank you for your message.
There are no issues with your use of the podling name to help promote
your event and help build your community as long as the naming is along
the lines of "Apache ServiceComb (incubating) MeetUp". If you can
please confirm the name of your event, we'd ap
Hi Sally
Apache SkyWalking (incubating) project will join the meeting too. We will

Thank you for notifying us, Sheng.
As with Apache ServiceComb, please be sure to send us the Apache

Also, I'm not sure if your Incubator mentor has mentioned it to you, but

Hi Sally,
Actually the meetup is holded by two community, one is "Apache

And we use "Apache ServiceComb(incubating) && 树人云 ” as the meetup name.
BTW, We also invited "Apache Skywalking(incubating)" as a
Thank you, Willem.
As the ASF is vendor-neutral, you may state the event as "Apache
ServiceComb (incubating) MeetUp presented by 树人云" but they cannot be
combined together. "Presented" is just a suggestion: it can be "hosted",
"supported", or other such words.
I appreciate that you are having Apach

Hi Sally,
As 树人云 doesn't use Apache ServiceComb to build their PaaS product and we
both want to build up the community about building microservice.
Can we change the event name to " Building Microservice Meetup presented by
Apache ServiceComb(incubating) && 树人云"?
