Sorry but the fact is, there were many committers and they did not
commit for whatever reason.
Several committers (or their peers, there was nothing private or
"secret" about it) expressed their hope or faith to do so, but could
not fulfill those promises.

I tried to brought up the issue of unsustainability of maintaining a
repository-based User-Agent parser/analyzer subject in the mailing list
before[1], but got no response at all. At bol.com, we tried to do this
