I also get consistent crashing when clicking once on another/new connection
listing. To reproduce with 100% repeatability on my computer:
 * clicking out of a connection that has entries showing in the modification
log pane, to a connection that has no modification logs (does not happen if
going from a log-free pane to a connection *with* modification log entries). If
modification log pane is minimized though, crash doesn't happen. If switching
between connections with non-zero length modification logs, no crash either.
 * clearing a connection's modification pane, after clicking OK to "Delete all
log files?" Note that after relaunch, modification pane for that connection has
in fact been deleted, and clicking out of these previously crash-prone
connections no longer causes Directory Studio to crash

So, this particular crash may be related to the modification log pane going
from a non-zero to a zero-length display state?

Unlike Calder Duncanson, I do not crash when using backspace or delete key in a
dialog box (e.g. renaming RDN for an entry).

MacOS 10.13.3 on 15" Macbook Pro 2016 (so filesystem was auto-converted from
HFS+ to Apple File System (APFS) during upgrade to High Sierra)

java version "1.8.0_162"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_162-b12)

> Am running Version: 2.0.0.v20170904-M13
> And the java JDK 1.8.0_121-b13
> MacOS version: 10.13.2
> It seems that whenever I hit the delete key while editing text in a dialog
> box I get a full crash.
> Also when I select a new ldap connection from my connections list (just
> clicking once not even doubleclicking to connect) Studio crashes 3 out of 4
> times.  Not sure what the pattern is exactly, but it happens several times a
> day.
>  2.0.0.v20170904-M13 was great and solid until the High Seirra upgrade.  Has
> been happening on every release of 10.13 since.
