making ssl_hook_Fixup_vars available to another custom module

Hi,

I am looking for a solution to make the ssl_hook_Fixup_vars area
available to an external module.

Something in ssl_register_hooks() like:
ap_register_provider(p, "mod_ssl" , "ssl_variables", "0",
&ssl_hook_Fixup_vars);

Would do the magic, comments?
