Hi Mateusz, The development work that is needed to support Sharepoint REST is extensive. It's not clear either whether the API is complete enough to succeed at this. But if you have test servers, that's quite a help; the people who wanted this development never responded to our co-development offer.
The CONNECTORS-1247 branch was set up to begin to develop this ability. Essentially there will need to be parallel versions of all the connectors and authorities that currently have any relationship with SharePoint, with the possible exception of the SharePointADAuthority. The most difficult part of dealing with the REST API itself is dealing with the OAuth model that SharePoint uses for authorization. In order to get past that, as a first step I recommended developing a REST version of the native SharePointAuthority. If this can be developed successfully (and it's a relatively contained exercise) I can leverage that in order to develop the main connector. My problem at the moment is that I have extremely limited time for this project. But if you can find a way to do and contribute that first connector, I will likely be able to do much more by November or so.
