The idea is that we set the version in which the bug was found. If it was in
2.0.8, it was also in 2.0.7, and all previous versions.

Agreed, we are using openfire 4.0.3, even latest openfire 4.1.3 is using this
Mina 2.0.7 version only.
How to update affected version in this bug

That bug has affected version as 2.0.8 only, could you add 2.0.7 as well?
