the release is now out - i've updated the migration guide to highlight
this known PutMongo issue. Hopefully I captured the language properly
there but if not please feel free to change.

Amazon Linux (Oracle 1.8.0_161)
FWIW, something isn’t working with the RPM build the way it was. Don’t have
anything specific to report though and
+1 (non-binding) Release this package as nifi-1.6.0
Comments:
- sig and hashes look good
- ran a simple flow, saving/loading from Registry
- full build w/tests passed, but it took two attempts. First time failed @
nifi-ambari-reporting-task due to a test failure:
[ERROR] Errors:

+1 (non-binding)
- Ran full clean install on OS X (10.13.3)
- Tested a farily large flow with OpenID connect and another with LDAP
- Tested fine grained restricted component policies.
- Reviewed documentation

That should do it. It's just a problem in customValidate that didn't check
the MODE parameter. So I don't think it'll matter if you set either that or
the update query key since those should only be used during updates.
Thanks,

Mike,
Is there a workaround for this? Like setting the query key(s) for
insert even if they are ignored? Or will that cause other issues?
Thanks,
Matt

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this morning I found a bug in

Ran through the release helper steps.
Confirmed example flows including Atlas integration work with a secure
NiFi cluster.
Thanks for the release efforts!

+1 (binding) - Ran through the release helper checksums and build steps
(Amazon Linux). Upgraded a working NiFi out of unbounded optimism for RC3,
and it's looking good. Thanks again for the release efforts!

- full build on Mac OS X
- confirmed that previous issues reported with RC1 and RC2 are fixed
- tested secured/unsecured standalone/cluster deployments
Minor remark for the RM documentation and the release helper guide. We're
currently saying to
+1 binding
-- verified sigs and hashes.
-- confirmed a parallel build with tests
-- started secure cluster and interfaced with Apache NiFi MiNiFi C++

with full build, tried various flows and validated a couple fixes.
Thanks for handling the release Joe!
