I think we need to make sure that it doesn't become like a competition to beat
the previous month's scores, so it might be good to rotate and use a range of
indicators. The ones posted in the blog are mailing list and issues stats, but
Kibble also shows what our mailing list mood
+1 for communicating more stats about the health of the project, whether
that is monthly or quarterly. We had such in our quarterly reports up to
the one for the 2nd quarter of 2018. Unfortunately, IMO, for the wrong

results, then reporting on a monthly basis may prove to be undesirable, and
it would then be better to report on a quarterly basis. Then the risk of
gaming the outcome should become less.

Anyway, even when using Kibble we will always need a human interpretation. And
that's when it begin to be more work.
Also, stats are driving the world and we see where it's going... I have always preferred the logical branch of AI over the stats branch for this
reason.
I truly appreciate initiatives like kibble, the various reporter functions
and other stuff that work towards showing the health of projects.
Unfortunately these initiatives still have miles to go towards providing
more meaning. Showing number of tickets opened and closed is nice, but that
has been
