Infra has nothing to do with it, that's SourceForge (and our) land! ;-)

Maybe someone from Infra can make

https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/download/4963
redirect to
https://berma.pagesperso-orange.fr/HM/HistoryMaster-1.1.1.oxt

or add an option so admins can fix dead links?

That is great that you could find the author's page!

Maybe someone who is Native French? In any case the latest version is from
2011. Even if there aren't any features to add the author could fix the
compatibility with LO...

Hi Pedro,

I was not able to change the download link, but this seems to be the
official site now:

https://berma.pagesperso-orange.fr/index2.html

I added a link in the comments.

Maybe someone wants to contact the author and ask if he wants to develop
it further?

I have published your last comment now.

I am not sure if I can do that with an existing release link.

If there is a newer version (often they are only available via
extensions.l.o) we could ask the author to release it at extensions.o.o
as well.

That makes sense. Yes, I can imagine that they were not all linking to AOO
related pages :)

As admin can you simply replace the outdated download link with the link to the
file archived in your apache account?
It is more user friendly if the download button works (instead of a link in a
comment)

Thanks!

That's because comment with links need to be published by an admin. (You
guess what sort of links we had in comments?)

I will have a look at it!

History Master version 1.1.1 works on AOO 4.1.10
I added some comments including a valid download link back in 2018 but they are
not visible for some odd reason.

An archived version of the extension is available from
https://home.apache.org/~mseidel/HistoryMaster-1.1.1.oxt

Yes, install the appropriate extension, which already existed when Apache
OpenOffice was still called OpenOffice.org.
In the meantime there seem to be even 3:
https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/history-master
https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/advanced-history-manager-manage-list-recentpreviously-opened-files
https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/history-master

There are at least a couple of extensions that claim to do this:
https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/history-manager
https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/advanced-history-manager-manage-list-recentpreviously-opened-files

I have not tried them.

Enhancement request from Facebook

2021-06-16 Thread Peter Kovacs

Hello all,

We have the issue 20655 [1] which is about a setting on how many last
documents are kept.

Does anyone have pointers what to do? Where would we add this setting?

All the best

Peter
