Ah, the "spinning beachball" is from macOS?!

I tested on Intel with macOS 10... and cold not replicate. So it is
macOS 15, independent of the CPU?

I don't think we should release a new version with old logos.
According to ASF I even think we are obliged to update them.

I am open for RC2, also for other reasons.

If you need assistance, please let me know!

If you can build trunk or AOO42X most of the graphics are already

On the https://www.openoffice.org/ website changing the logo on the footer

There are also logos to be changed in the Wiki

If I understand correctly there is an ASF Marketing & Publicity team providing

Maybe someone wants to have a look at our website?

I can see that ASF already changed at https://openoffice.apache.org/

On the https://www.openoffice.org/ website changing the logo on the
footer should be enough?

There are also logos to be changed in the Wiki https://
wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Main_Page and the Extensions https://
extensions.openoffice.org/ sites, and possibly others less obvious.

I'll have a look for our websites on the weekend.

I think the graphic has changed already:
https://www.openoffice.org/
(see the footer)

Is something more to do?

Thanks

Hi Marcus, Matthias

It seems that the change to a new logo was reverted?

What happened?

Pedro

Hi Matthias

It was probably a cache problem...

Sorry for the noise!

Makes sense. I hope it makes it to 4.1.16

Re: New ASF logo

2025-09-11 Thread Dave Fisher
I can help with the new logo on the forum and wiki too. Possibly tomorrow. I’m
at the ASF conference. I can likely find the 60 minutes needed although I have
a presentation on Sunday and need to prepare slides.

I did some quick research in case someone gets there before me.

The forum’s asf logo is /x1/var_www/asf_logo_small.png and then
/x1/var_www/{lang}/forum/asf_logo_simple.png

For the wiki there are two logo versions in /x1/mediawiki-1.35.14/ASFLogo/.

Don’t rename. Replace and I recommend that you resize to meet the versions we
need.

Best,
Dave
