And , also look at the dynamic column support.

You don't need to specify all the columns at the time of create view and
you can still query other columns by specifying them during the query.

Hi Anupama,
Option 1:-
You can create a ASYNC index so that WAL can be replayed. And once your
regions are up , remember to do the flush of data table before dropping the
index.
Option 2:-
Create a table in hbase with the same name as index table name by using
hbase shell.

Moving PHOENIX-3111 to 4.8.1 as per discussion with Rajeshbabu. Let me know

Yes, James, There are JIRAs(if not all) which are expected to be ported to

AFAIK, Phoenix is not yet supported with MapR M7 Edition. but it is still

Is that the way it's working? If not, let's file a JIRA please.

PHOENIX-3726 could be a blocker for this release.

Thanks, Istvan for putting up a detailed plan
+1 for removing twill(as I can see it is recently moved to Attic) and
adding whatever convenience it's bringing in Omid/tephra project itself.
Instead of creating a shaded artifact of Guava and then refer it in Omid
and Tephra, can't we just short-cir
et of commits which brings back this shim layer,
instead can use the tag and go with it.

Thanks Chenglei for bringing the failures to the notice. Have you confirmed
that reverting PHOENIX-5140 fixes the problem? if yes then I would suggest
reverting the fix and re-open the JIRA to be worked upon separately for the
new fix.
