yesterday I got the official permission form the Modbus Organization to use the Modbus specs available at: http://www.modbus.org/specs.php to implement PLC4X drivers. The problem I was having, was that the license agreement you had to accept in order to access the spec was more designed for Software and I was uncertain, if we were allowed to use it. But happily the Modbus guys quickly gave us the official permission to do that, so we’re all good on the legal side to start work on this. Chris
