I checked the LICENSE, NOTICE, and DISCLAIMER files, as well as the
signatures. All these looked good. I checked that there did not appear

I worked with RC2 to try to get it to build. The install.sh was a good
idea, but it still failed for me. Let me know if you want the output
from the build so you can debug it and improve the install.sh script.

I wanted to raise a concern that Singa has been in the incubator for over a

the distribution. Looks good.

-1. In the LICENSE file you note that files are included that are licensed
under several BSD license variants. This is fine, except that those licenses
need to be placed in the LICENSE file in order to be compliant with the

The Australia/Pacific version of Dataworks Summit is in Sydney this year,
September 20-21. This is a great place to talk about work you are doing in
Apache Singa or how you are using Singa. Information on submitting an abstract

https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SINGA has been created. Moaz,
I've made you the admin, you should be able to add others.
Regarding gitbox, it appears that is finished based on the JIRA. Is there
something more to do?

Checked the signature and sha512. Didn't find any binary files, checked
the headers to make sure everything had an Apache License or was accounted
for in the LICENSE/NOTICE files. Didn't do a build because I don't have
all the right packages set up on my machine.

constant progress. The only question I have left is the Whimsy page notes that
there is no Software Grant or IP clearance on file for Singa. Did Singa come
