Hi,
I've spent some time looking at the Apache wiki and looking at what other
Apache projects have as their wikis as well, and the distinction between
those and the project websites, then doing what Dave did above - asking
what information needs to go at which location, how do we go about the

Hi,
Thank you for the incredibly valuable (if at times furstrating) effort! I

Hi,
I'm updating the Trafodion FAQ as part of the website migration. One of
the questions in the current FAQ is:
Is there a transaction log and can the log be shipped to a DR site?
Yes, there is a log that audits all the transactional activity. There is no
support for shipping and replaying

Gunnar, this is great - much more usable! Awesome job. I need to put my
developer hat on and my new-trial-user hat on and my "I want to be a
contributor" hat on and think through my use cases for each, but this is
already a big step forward.

Hi,
+1 on this last.
This makes sense to me, so long as it's aligned with the criteria for
Apache incubating projects. This makes it easier for folks to contribute
documentation changes that are versioned, and to change the website

I was looking for committer info and found this page:

It's got a list of committers and PMC members for (almost) every Apache

example the workflow to install required dependencies and set up the

Hi Trafodion Dev Fans,
Just a reminder that the Trafodion daily build is *not* to be used as a
substitute release build for users. People on the user list should not be
aware that it exists even, and we should not mention it there.
The daily build suffers from a number of limitations that a

in what software they're going to decide to use. Let's give them fair

Hi,
It would be very helpful if we could track the environments and cases used

cases and their output, but short and sweet:

- Tested when regionserver is down
- Tested with bad arguments for CREATE
Hi Aven,

Do we have a Chinese translation of the Contributor Guide, tested and

I'm definitely in favor of trying for TLP. I think we are are ready to

Hi Dave
It seems like the "update the revision history" step should be part of the
release manager checklist that Roberta and Steve put together? Nobody
knows if s/he is the last person to update it
The alternative is every update is presumed to be the last, so each person
updates it as
