; I'm OK if the answer is "wait" or
"jump through these hoops", I'm asking because I want to notify upstream
yet I kinda don't know what can I tell them. :D

sh_config instead of the other way round.
Yes, and they should also define the scope of (=limit!) that masking by
using mechanics of envvars.
It is my understanding that the basic (if not only) motivation for $subj
is that some people fail at the envvars part. IMO that's not
convincing, especially if i
hy this should
be done.
The "bug" with /usr/bin/pip should IMO be fixed with /usr/bin/pip--IIUC
it's this bin that starts to conflate system libs with stuff under $HOME
(My guess is you could have this kind of breakage even in a way
unrelated to $PATH.)

aL.

Inconvenience is not that much of a problem for (A), because it's not
likely that they would know what they're doing and not recognize why
it's not working (and blame Fedora).
Making it more convenient for (B) and (C) is IMO not worth given that
we'd als
really only need to drop new file.
I guess my point is that it won't make attacks possible (they already
are), but it might be making them easier.
