Is not an negative feedback, is a side note but I realize some time
ago that version with next is bigger than version without next [1]

el8.next version.

rpmdev-vercmp 1.el8.next 1.el8

Hi,
I finally finished firts version of redhat-lsb-5.0, I tried to collect
all the commits that exist on the internet and organize them, I chose
to fork the official lsb_release from linuxfoundation.org [1], and add
the original redhat-lsb-4.1 and then apply some commits found on the
internet

rebuilds and recently , what you advice to do ?
Any quick way to replace distutils ? the python 3.12 final release,
currently is scheduled for 2023-10-02
