Which indicates that that reporting tool needs a amanual update. I's
unfortunately very, very common place for a reporting tool to need
manual updates after any new software release. or shift to a new
release candidate. It's a violation of several of the guidelines from
Eric Raymond's famous essay, "The Luxury of Ignorancee", at
http://www.catb.org/~esr/writings/cups-horror.html. It's not a *bad*
display, but automatic activation for new releases or working branch
versions would be very nice.

Hi Nico,

you can check it here: https://apps.fedoraproject.org/koschei/

You can see Fedora Rawhide, Fedora 30, Fedora 29 and EPEL7, but there
is no Fedora 31 which kinda indicates that Koschei has not been
updated yet.

[Test-Announce] 2019-08-26 @ 16:00 UTC - Fedora 31 Blocker Review Meeting

2019-08-25 Thread Adam Williamson
# F31 Blocker Review meeting
# Date: 2019-08-26
# Time: 16:00 UTC
# Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.freenode.net

Hi folks! We have 2 proposed Beta blockers, 1 proposed Final
blocker and 1 proposed Beta freeze exception to review, so let's have a
Fedora 31 blocker review meeting tomorrow!

If you have time today, you can take a look at the proposed or
accepted blockers before the meeting - the full lists can be found
here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ .

We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the
Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not
fixed. Information on the release criteria for F31 can be found on the
wiki [0].

For more information about the Blocker and Freeze exception process,
check out these links:
 - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:SOP_freeze_exception_bug_process

And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting
works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out
the SOP on the wiki:

Have a good day and see you tomorrow!

Hi folks! I'm proposing we cancel the QA meeting tomorrow, as there
isn't a lot for the agenda. We will be doing a blocker review meeting,
though - I'll send out the announcement for that in a minute.

If you're aware of anything important we have to discuss this week,
please do reply to this mail and we can go ahead and run the meeting.

you'll find fedora 31 packages and find that the rawhide package are

I plan to build hwloc-2.0 and the packages listed above, incl. legion
with the patch on Wednesday.

Fedora 29 Atomic Host will follow the EOL schedule for Fedora 29. It will EOL
approximately a month
after Fedora 31 is released. Fedora 31 is scheduled to be released at the end
of October, so the EOL
for Fedora 29 will probably be around the end of November.

The Fedora CoreOS preview release is out now. We're hoping to bring that to
stable ASAP but we've got
some things we'd like to finish before we make that declaration. The best thing
that can be done is to
get some experience trying out OpenStack Magnum on Fedora CoreOS so that we can
get in fixes now before
we declare stable.

We'd like to work with you more closely to make sure the transition is smooth
for the Magnum project. Can
you all share some time/resources to work with us to make sure we smooth out
any wrinkles?

[EPEL-devel] itstool missing in aarch64 and s390x

2019-08-25 Thread Mukundan Ragavan
The package "itstool" seems to be missing in some architectures (s390x
and aarch64) although it should be provided by RHEL server rpms. It
appears to be available in x86_64 and ppc64le.

I noticed this when building gparted. See the failed build here -
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=37269134

Can someone please take a look? Thanks.

[HEADS-UP] snakeyaml 1.25 update

2019-08-25 Thread Fabio Valentini
Hi everybody,

Right now, the snakeyaml package in fedora is out of date by more than
three years (1.17, released in February 2016). We plan to merge the PR
rebasing it to the latest version (1.25, released this month) into
master / rawhide and f31. The new versions include *a lot of bug
fixes*, and some minor backwards-incompatible changes.

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/snakeyaml/pull-request/3

I ran test rebuilds of dependent packages in a COPR repository, and
every package that isn't already broken built successfully, except
jruby:

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/decathorpe/snakeyaml-pr/monitor/

I checked JRuby upstream vs. the jruby package in fedora, and the
version we ship was released in August 2015 (!). I think compatibility
with the latest snakeyaml versions should be fixed with 9.2.0.0 and
newer, according to the upstream changelog (the versioning jumped from
1.7.x series to "jruby 9000", with 9.x.y.z).

If I ran the repoqueries correctly, JRuby is also only required by two
packages in fedora, both related to JRuby itself (joni and
jruby-maven-plugins).

Re: vdr-epg-daemon does not compile on f32

2019-08-25 Thread Martin Gansser
Hi,

I still do not know in which file the command Usage:
/usr/bin/python3.7m-x86_64-config is called and what I need to change so that
it can be compiled under F30.

For help, I would be grateful.
