Changes in schedule - Fedora 21 to slip three weeks

2014-07-24 Thread Jaroslav Reznik
Greetings,!
as you probably noticed, Fedora 21 is still not frozen (Alpha Change
Deadline was planned for this Tuesday, 2014-07-22), due to several
issues we hit while working on the Alpha release (incomplete test
composes etc).

There's also Flock being held in the beginning of August (2014-08-06 -
2014-08-09) [1] in Prague and many contributors would like to enjoy
this event instead of being trapped in the release windmills. I hope
to meet you all there!

Therefore, on yesterday's FESCo meeting (2014-07-23), it was decided [2]
to slip Fedora 21 by three weeks including the Alpha Change Deadline.

2014-08-12 Alpha Change Deadline
2014-08-26 Alpha Release

With final Fedora 21 release planned on 2014-11-04. For more details,
see updated Fedora 21 Schedule [3].

I have 2 pending commit acl requests (to 0ad) that I did not deny

Looks like it's as easy as dropping an xml snippet into
/usr/lib/firewalld/services/

I'm also noticing currently that the only package besides fallwalld itself
doing this is cockpit, which includes a %post scriptlet:

# firewalld only partially picks up changes to its services files
# without this
test -f %{_bindir}/firewall-cmd  firewall-cmd --reload --quiet || true

Can we wrap this in a macro provided by firewalld.rpm? This will make
updates later on easier.

Added upstream:
https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/firewalld.git/commit/?id=9200667fd6f43b7375a309a7130d97da7309d403

Will be in next firewalld release, thanks for the idea.

Hi,

I had some news 5 days ago, he was on a professional travel in Portugal.

@Jonathan: could you answer Martin, please ?

I don't know the whole context, but I think that you - I mean both of
you - should start a thread on this list about the aforementioned
ticket. btw, please notice that through copr, you may provide
alternative versions of glfw (ie: git snapshots)

--- Comment #2 from Petr Pisar ppi...@redhat.com ---
From URI-Find changelog:

20140709 Wed Jul 9 16:28:37 PDT 2014
Backwards Incompatibilities
* Previously, URIs stringified to their canonical version. Now
they stringify as written. This results in less loss of
information. For example. Blah HTTP:://FOO.COM previously
would stringify as http://foo.com/; and now it will stringify
as HTTP://FOO.COM. To restore the old behavior you can call
  $uri-canonical. (Schwern)

I will just adjust the test leaving finale decision to upstream. I don't know
whether canonizing URIs was in intention, or just an side effect.

[perl-perl5i] Update to 2.13.0

2014-07-24 Thread Paul Howarth
commit 7fa109f727c66ce49a6225813fc5b3c018529dbe
Author: Paul Howarth p...@city-fan.org
Date: Thu Jul 24 15:53:29 2014 +0100

Update to 2.13.0

- New upstream release 2.13.0
  - $scalar-path will return a Path::Tiny object using the contents of
$scalar, which makes working with files much, much easier (GH#229,
GH#247)
  - The project has moved to the evalEmpire organization to allow broader
project admin options (http://github.com/evalEmpire/perl5i)
  - Added a project rationale (GH#226, GH#252)
  - Fixed a crash if the perl5i command line is fed a null byte
(GH#269, GH#273)
  - Stop using deprecated Hash::StoreIterator::eech() (GH#270)
  - The methods() meta method now ignores subroutines declared with func()
(GH#222, GH#253)
- Use %license

Jaroslav
