Hi Dmitrij,
(CC'd Takanori)

I know him personally. I got in touch with him and got his response.

He said he had no time to maintain all of his packages now. So he will
orphan them and he would like you to take owernership

I know I can't speak for him here. I'm asking him to follow the
official orphaning process.

Best regards,

This means that \version is not defined.

Apparently, there should be a version.tex in the tarball, generated by
"make release". However, it is missing, and since \include is used to
read the file, not \input, there's only a warning, “No file
version.tex.” in the build log, the build doesn't stop with an error at
this point.

that''s enough:

texlive scheme?
Can you attach your .text file if I can find the problem. I use texmaker
and most of the cases it tells me where the bug is.

How to decode/debug this TeXLive error message?

2014-08-30 Thread Peter Lemenkov
Hello All!
Sorrty for the almost unrelated question but I'm experiencing troubles
with TeXLive. I installed just texlive, texlive-comment, and hevea and
tsee this while rebuilding a package's docs:

LaTeX Font Info:External font `cmex10' loaded for size
(Font) <17.28> on input line 190.
LaTeX Font Info:External font `cmex10' loaded for size
(Font) <12> on input line 190.
! Undefined control sequence.
\@title ...ular}{r} {\huge {\bf ejabberd \version
  \ }} \\ \\ {\huge Installa...
l.190   \maketitle{
   }
?
! Emergency stop.
\@title ...ular}{r} {\huge {\bf ejabberd \version
  \ }} \\ \\ {\huge Installa...
l.190   \maketitle{
   }
End of file on the terminal!

See full log if it matters:

* https://peter.fedorapeople.org/stuff/guide.log

The question is - what's missing on my machine from several thousand
TeXLive packets available, and how to find the missing packet having
only this data?

I don't know what went wrong there, but it's not recoverable
so I have killed that VM and am reinstalling it.

The 'rpm -U' command just exits when run, no error messages.

strace output is attached.

 Recently I have noticed that systemd package dependency is creeping into
 some packages where it is not necessary. subversion [1] or rsync [2] are
 good examples. Please consider moving daemon parts into independent
 subpackages. When I install rsync/subversion, I am typically interested
 just in client side.

 Just to be clear, systemd-libs is in minimal build root already, so I am
 not complaining about systemd-libs package, but about systemd package.

Well it is optional in docker container images.

Intent to update libinfinity to 0.6.1 (soname bump)

2014-08-30 Thread Till Maas
Hi,

I would like to update libinfinity to 0.6.1 where possible. I prepared a
copr build at:
https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/till/gobby05/

I did not yet test whether the gedit or kte plugins rebuild properly,
but I will do so before updating Rawhide.

Regards
Till
