OpenQA isn't considered a full production system IIRC so I don't think
it matters a whole lot. The only openqa host that's being monitored is
qa14 anyways.

Either way, we'll be updating and rebooting the virthost that the
openqa servers live on so there'll be downtime even if they don't need
to be updated.

To confirm that it is an selinux problem, you could, as root, run
setenforce 0
to put selinux in permissive mode and then try starting zabbix. If it
starts, it's an selinux problem, if it doesn't, there are other things
wrong.

To put selinux back in enforcing mode, run
setenforce 1

I dunno if it's frowned upon, but I already update and reboot the
openqa boxes manually fairly often. I've updated and rebooted them all
at least twice in the F25 cycle already, I think.

Usually SELinux will give suggestions for how to fix a problem when it
fails. Have you tried implementing those suggestions?

To get it fixed permanently, open a ticket at
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/

Planned Outage: QA systems - 2016-09-21 21:00 UTC

2016-09-19 Thread Tim Flink
This has been announced through other channels but just to make sure
folks are aware, there there will be an outage starting at 2016-09-21
21:00 UTC, which will last approximately 4 hours.

This will affect all qa systems (amongst others):

  - taskotron
  - phabricator
  - blockerbugs
  - openqa

To convert UTC to your local time, take a look at
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/UTCHowto or run:

 date -d '2016-09-21 21:00 UTC'

Reason for outage:

Scheduled updates and reboots before F25 beta freeze

Puzzling. I didn't do anything that would have corrected this. ;(

Ah, it was submitted for stable. So, now that it's in the base repo

A perl test file

Description of problem:
DateTime::Format::Pg::format_duration rejects valid date with fractional
seconds

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

0.16012-1.fc23

How reproducible:

Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. give the routine a date time duration with fractional seconds
2.
3.

Actual results:
Code dies for example with:
"Unknown timespec: 17:00:00.12"

Expected results:

It gives a valid DateTime::Duration object

Additional info:

This is also a bug in fc24.
I notified the perl maintainer and has a bug fix.

The attached perl test passes at .16011 and fails .16012

A work around is to downgrade.

pghmcfc pushed to perl-AnyEvent (perl-AnyEvent-7.13-1.fc25). "Update to 7.13 (..more)"

2016-09-19 Thread notifications
From ab7ad5c0b6824f7558d66eeaede77a5dbb090527 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001
From: Paul Howarth
Date: Mon, 19 Sep 2016 15:04:47 +0100
Subject: Update to 7.13

- New upstream release 7.13
  - Only call tlsext_host_name for non-empty common names
  - Log a (single) notice message if SNI is not supported
  - Upgrade to UTS-46:9.0.0 draft and switch to non-transitional behaviour
(see also https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1218179)
  - It turns out that the UTS-46 IDNA testcase failures were indeed bugs in the
testcases and the specification and not in the code - the post-9.0.0
unicode files have all known problems fixed, so finally the AnyEvent IDNA
implementation can pass the full IDNA testsuite - without needing a single
fix
  - Guarantee (and document) that condvar callbacks will be removed on
invocation - important to avoid circular references
- Simplify find command using -delete
- Use %license unconditionally

pghmcfc pushed to perl-AnyEvent (f25). "Update to 7.13 (..more)"

2016-09-19 Thread notifications
From ab7ad5c0b6824f7558d66eeaede77a5dbb090527 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001
From: Paul Howarth
Date: Mon, 19 Sep 2016 15:04:47 +0100
Subject: Update to 7.13

- New upstream release 7.13
  - Only call tlsext_host_name for non-empty common names
  - Log a (single) notice message if SNI is not supported
  - Upgrade to UTS-46:9.0.0 draft and switch to non-transitional behaviour
(see also https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1218179)
  - It turns out that the UTS-46 IDNA testcase failures were indeed bugs in the
testcases and the specification and not in the code - the post-9.0.0
unicode files have all known problems fixed, so finally the AnyEvent IDNA
implementation can pass the full IDNA testsuite - without needing a single
fix
  - Guarantee (and document) that condvar callbacks will be removed on
invocation - important to avoid circular references
- Simplify find command using -delete
- Use %license unconditionally
