[Test-Announce] 2016-10-24 @ 16:00 UTC - Fedora 25 Blocker Review
# F25 Blocker Review meeting # Date: 2016-10-24 # Time: 16:00 UTC # Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.freenode.net Hi folks! We currently have 2 proposed Final blockers and 2 proposed Final freeze exceptions to review. There are also 5 accepted Final blockers to check in on. If you have time this weekend, you can take a look at the proposed or accepted blockers before the meeting - the full lists can be found here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ . We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not fixed. Information on the release criteria for F25 can be found on the wiki [0]. For more information about the Blocker and Freeze exception process, check out these links: - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:SOP_blocker_bug_process - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:SOP_freeze_exception_bug_process And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out the SOP on the wiki: - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:SOP_Blocker_Bug_Meeting Have a good weekend and see you on Monday! Well, then run the tests in a non-blocking post-build process, and only nag the maintainers if they keep failing for a month or so. ppc64 and ppc64le builds coming to rawhide
Hi all, over the weekend we will be importing and enabling ppc64 and ppc64le builds in koji.fedoraproject.org as part of https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/ Architectures/RedefiningSecondaryArchitectures The import and enablement of ppc64 and ppc64le is for rawhide only, we expect to add s390x sometime after f26 has branched We will be making changes to the compose process early next week to enable ppc64 and ppc64le in the rawhide compose, a reminder that i386 has been moved from /pub/fedora/ to /pub/fedora-secondary/ A further announcement will come when building of ppc64 and ppc64le is enabled Thanks Dennis signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. ___ devel-announce mailing list -- devel-annou...@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-announce-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org

Review swap - Attention Inkscape users!
It came to my attention that the new Inkscape in rawhide and f25 is missing some dependencies. I added one, but the other is a python module we don't have yet. I'll happily swap with anyone who can review this in time to get it into f25 or as a 0day update. Thanks! To cut to the point you can set the minimum font size for each language by changing the language in the "Fonts for" drop-down list in the Firefox fonts settings dialogue (Preferences -> Content -> Advanced). -- Ahmad Samir ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org
Bodhi: Non-RPM artifacts not making it in time for F26
Hello fellow Fedora developers! I wanted to inform you all that our change proposal for adding non-RPM artifacts to Bodhi[0] is not going to be done in time for Fedora 26 as was previously planned. There are simply too many things on my plate for Fedora 26, and so it's been decided that we'll have to cut this one so that I have a more realistic work load. I do still consider this a high priority to get done "soon", but Fedora 26 is sooner than we think! docker-compose & selinux
I use docker-compose extensively for local development. On F24 all I had to do to make it play well with selinux was something like this: sudo chcon -Rt svirt_sandbox_file_t project_folder After updating to F25 this doesn't work anymore. Did something changed on selinux policies (besides that label been renamed to container_file_t) or I should file a bug? Specifically I cannot start a mariadb container with compose. On a related note, I opened a bug on our developer portal, since it lacks any mention on SELinux https://github.com/developer-portal/content/issues/163 ~nikos signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org
