To be or not to be... supervisor 4.0
Hello, These days I'm reviewing my python packages, in order to remove python2 dependencies [0], and we have a problem with supervisor [1]. As we can read in the current stable version 3.3.4: "Supervisor is known to work with Python 2.4 or later but will not work under any version of Python 3." Since more than a year, supervisor developers are working on the 4.0.0 (master) branch, and they made interesting progresses [3] with python3 support. It seems it's possible they release soon the 4.0.0 branch. My question is, must we maintain (at rawhide) the 3.3.4 release with the python2 dependencies until that release? Or can I come early with the work and introduce the 4.0.0.dev0 now (and remove python2 dependecies)? hardlink building issue in F26 armv7hl and i686
Hi all, We have a problem with the hardlink package. The koji build made by Fedora Release Engineering failed in armv7hl and i686 architectures. I saw the logs and I tried a mock build in my own machine too, the problem is always the same: + gcc -O2 -g -pipe -Wall -Werror=format-security -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fexceptions -fstack-protector-strong --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -grecord-gcc-switches -specs=/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/redhat-hardened-cc1 -m32 -march=i686 -fasynchronous-unwind-tables hardlink.c -o hardlink /tmp/cc1xWk9j.o: In function `rf': /builddir/build/BUILD/hardlink-1.1/hardlink.c:257: undefined reference to `stcmp' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status Of course, stcmp is declared. It's very weird, because the other architectures don't have the issue, nor f25 builds. Any idea about what can be happening? -- Francisco Javier Tsao Santín http://gattaca.es 1024D/71CF4D62 42 F1 53 35 EF 98 98 8A FC 6C 56 B3 4C A7 7D FB___ devel mailing list -- devel@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to devel-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org

Self Introduction: Fran Tsao
Hello /all, I've been using GNU/Linux since 1998. That year I joined to GPUL, the Coruña (North Spain) Linux Users Group. In these years I organised with my LUG a lot of free software hackmeetings, the greatest one, the GUADEC 2012. I was a Debian zealot more than 10 years, but because my current work I began to dive in deep in the RPM world three years ago. So now I am a convert ;-) and I decided to humbly collaborate with Fedora Project. I saw there is not a pam_usb package [0], so I made my first package with it, and I submitted a review bug[1]. Maybe I can co-maintain some packages too if anybody needs help. I'm specially interested in sysadmin/devops tools, and my favorite programming languages are Python, C/C++, AWK and (cough cough) Fortran ;-) Best regards, Fran Tsao [0] https://github.com/aluzzardi/pam_usb [1] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1304125 -- Francisco Javier Tsao Santín http://gattaca.es 1024D/71CF4D62 42 F1 53 35 EF 98 98 8A FC 6C 56 B3 4C A7 7D FB-- devel mailing list devel@lists.fedoraproject.org http://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org
