Torque support in openmpi package

2012-04-12 Thread Sergio Belkin
Hi,

I've installed openmpi I wonder if openmpi has support for torque. If
I issue the command ompi_info say nothing about torque/openpbs.
Also I've taken a look to spec file and I've found an early entry:

* Wed Oct 17 2007 Doug Ledford dledf...@redhat.com - 1.2.4-1
- Update to 1.2.4 upstream version
- Build against libtorque

But I think that torque support was removed somewhen I've found this too:

http://www.mailinglistarchive.com/html/torqueus...@supercluster.org/2009-12/msg00167.html

Thanks in advance!

Questions like these are probably best asked by filing a bug against the
component in question.

Interestingly enough, while there was no comment in the bug Garrick
filed: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=189441 (which I
wouldn't quite describe as giving the finger) it appears to have been
after that that --with-tm was added. I can't figure out when it was
removed or why. Nor can I find any other relevant bugs.

I made a scratch build here:
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=3986836 so it seems
like it could be re-added. It's just a matter of adding a BR on
torque-devel.

But again, file a bug, that's what it's there for.
