Just want to share about fedrq, since I was also bitten by such issues. 
It gets all packages that BuildRequires/Requires a specific package. 
Should be able to make a thread of the corresponding 
-maintainers mailing list and share a copr project about this 
upgrade.

which means this will only happen in Rawhide
