Hi all,
I’ve just tested the olpc-update to upgrade from OS45 to OS46: it works great !
Cool ! Thanks for that.
By the way I’ve got three questions about XO 1.5:
- “test-all” command end with a “general protection exception” error
after SD test (I’m in Q3A16).
- I’ve tried

Last night I just update the firmware on a XO1.5 to Q3A16.
This morning when I try updating to os47.zd from a .zd file on a USB tick I get
the following

SD card did not power up

Thanks, I'm aware of that. For this particular card it is either
defective or the XO is causing errors since it is barely 3 months old
and hasn't seen much use. It is gathering a good amount of errors by
writing 1-2GiB randomly, so I hope I don't need to go as far as

And how can experienced Support people help Help (and learn learning ;)

Bonjour Hubert
I read on planet.abisource.com (June 26, 2009) that you implemented the
JPEG support for abiword 2.7.6. This feature would be very useful for
OLPC XO laptops, but the newest release (8.2.1, build 802) for XOs
includes still abiword 2.6.4.
Is it possible to make a small and low

Hi Christoph,
The power-management kicks in as expected however to wake the XO
up again you actually have to press the power-button, hitting a
key or moving the cursor doesn't wake it up (as it does on the
XO-1).
I think this is fixed in the new OHM in os48 -- could you retest,
