XOpup, eg Puppy linux 5.1 for the XO-1 has reached version 3, is full featured
and has a permanent home now ( http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/XOpup/ ).
Boots to desktop under 1 min, is configured to access the XO-1 NAND, and has
full suite of tools that could be useful for debugging.

This is exciting!
There in now a nearly functional version of Sugar on Ubuntu at
http://download.sugarlabs.org/usr/ . The final release cycle will
match the 10.10 release of Ubuntu Maverick.
The packages can also be installed on a standard Maverick Ubuntu
system with the command
sudo apt-get

select Disconnect. Or to forget all

and discard network history forgets everything? Theres no easy way to forget
one connection?
