We have to reassign the SD ports on the XO-1.5, due to a newly
discovered
problem with the predefined power control pin for slot 2.
We have two devices, the WLAN and the external SD slot, where we might
want to maintain power throughout suspend. These will be assigned to
ports 1 and 0

- small change in Moodle that fixes upgrades from 0.5.x and earlier 0.6s
- xs-activation now looks in the xs-activation directory in inserted USB disks
- xs-release points to the new stable

Chris, Mitch,
I would like to wire up GPIO2, otherwise known as MSDT, to control
power to SDIO slot #2 (WLAN) after an ECO. The ECO will be one
trace cut and one blue wire.
I don't know where in the plumbing this should happen (a quirk in the SD
stack, allowing it's reuse in B3 ?) but I

So the F-9-based XS-0.6 is closed (at long last), and the next step is
to prep 0.7 based on F-11. Here is a rundown of the packaging /
installer work I think needs to be done:
=Rebuild packages, spec fixups=
Jerry Vonau has done a lot of the exploratory work, so mostly done I
think. Thanks!
Hi Martin,

Thanks! 99.98% of the code is Fedora so it's gotta be very good :-)
I would encourage you to look at using F-12 rather than F-11. F-12
will be more likely to be the base for RHEL-6

In the 0.6 set of packages there are 2 that stand out as generic

Awesome.
We have the OLPC collections incorporated into our repository now, so
we can include all or some of them to some RACHEL deployments. (You

Hey all,
We currently have 350 xo's on our network and 1 xs server running.
We just purchased 300 more xo's and will purchase 300 more in a month or so.
When I set up the first XS server back in march (0.5.1) there was a lot more
info on the Wiki about setting up multiple XS servers in one
We had 11 students using Sugar on a Stick and their sticks were backed up
today at the GPA! Yay!
So now I have feedback on the Moodle UI. I know we don't have a ton of
people doing development work so we need to think about where to collect
feedback if it cant be addressed in the immediate
Congtatulation...Nice feeling to see it working.
I now have my SoAS registered at the SS and I left it online for 2 hours..It is
backing up my stuff automatically and across the globe.
Agree that the next step is how to make the information useful. As I look at
the backup information I have
Caroline,
As this was the next thing I was going to worry about, I am thrilled to hear
that it works.
I will start testing our stuff next week.
In the meantime, I am also interested in how to make the backup stuff
useful.
