Changes and notes from Martin's OS36:

- All of sugar 0.92.4 release
- abiword and pyabiword with network support
- pybox2d distro package included so Physics should work

I have opened a discussion to add pybox2d to the Sugar platform [1].

- gnash / gnash-plugin
- PolicyKit-olpc
- Temporarily removed pygame and totem due to dep issues

That is why Physics does still not start even though pybox2d is present :)

Your build does include the latest sugar-presence-service package and
therefore fixes [2]. These builds are becoming the new build stream and
we can close the ticket then - is this correct?

Skype on XO 1.5

2011-08-14 Thread Sameer Verma
At the behest (more like pestering) of my mother, I installed Skype
(Fedora 13+ version) on a XO 1.5 with build 874 and it all works. This
is on the GNOME side. Both audio and video. I'm going to add a +1 in
my mother's contribution column :-) (She translated NN's open letter
into Hindi. bit.ly/9aMrGI)

Haven't tried it on a XO-1 as yet.

cheers,
Sameer

I only put it there as I didn't know where else to put it, as for
numbering schemes IMO it would be nice to pre able to use different
prefixes to make it a little easier to determine what they all are.

If I give you permissions on http://build.laptop.org/F14-arm/, maybe you
could continue using Martin's numbering scheme? It's better to minimize
the number of places we're hosting builds, I think, and not to have
shared build numbers in the same stream that point to different builds.

Thanks!

New F14-arm build os1 - Fedora mirror plus more!

2011-08-14 Thread Peter Robinson
The Peter's first release with Fedora Secondary Mirrors goodness plus
much more release!

Download from:

  http://build.laptop.org/~pbrobinson/f14-arm/os1/

Changes and notes from Martin's OS36:

- All of sugar 0.92.4 release
- abiword and pyabiword with network support
- pybox2d distro package included so Physics should work
- gnash / gnash-plugin
- PolicyKit-olpc
- Temporarily removed pygame and totem due to dep issues
- Back to latest builds of dracut* linux-firmware olpc-update
- A few minor package NVR regressions that will be fixed in the next build

In kernel land:
- Nothing

Activity version changes:
-Distance-23
+Colors-15
+distance-24
-Log-24
+Log-25
-Measure-32
+Measure-33
-Scratch-19

Using Yum:

The default Fedora yum config should work for fedora and
fedora-updates. MirrorManager redirects to appropriate mirror based on
arch so there should now be no changes necessary.

Enjoy!
