 I have tested the XO-1.5 build and it boots fine and you can change the language to Kreyol (Haiti) in the control Panel or just add the .i18n file in /home/olpc/   LANG="ht_HT.utf8" LANGUAGE="ht_HT.utf8"   There are still a few strings missing - but as far as I can tell the situation in the build

 Hi Timothy,   so the issue you are seeing is twofold:   a) the command you are using "sugar-control-panel -s language Kreyol/Haiti" will write a faulty locale. Can be seen in /home/olpc/.i18n That is why your activity icons are gone. It should be something similar to this:   LANG="ht_HT.utf8" LANG

I'm sorry to continue this as if I knew what I am talking about, ;-), but, having to do a recompile or whatever it is named based on Fedora would require them to download Fedora, yes? So a solution based on them downloading Fedora and then fondling it to shape would also require bandwidth? yes?
