Re: Status of Joyride

2008-10-31 Thread genesee

joyride-2522 updated, rewrote firmware Q2E20, rebooted fine the first
time...then hung up on 2nd reboot, (after removing gnash and installing
flash). Now I get this with olpc-update joyride-2522 (and joyride-2521 and
767):

$ sudo olpc-update joyride-2522 -r
Downloading contents of build joyride-2522.

¿Help? I have reverted to joyride-2515. Alarming that olpc-update won't even
work with 767. Did I make the stream mad?

In the mean time you can still use what the old scripts generate:

Can someone poke the announcer scripts that updates the following URLs.

Joyride's back now. joyride-2520 contains the queued-up userspace
changes, and joyride-2521 is the first build with a "master"-branch
kernel which is based on 2.6.27 -- please do file bugs if you see
any odd kernel behaviors. I've checked that both the kernel and
sugar boot successfully on 2521.

Thanks,

- Chris.
