Hi guys,
I had the chance to test the procedure suggested in the notice board
to switch from fglrx to ati.
I got the system stuck with the message:
EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.

After a bit of googling, it turned out that my
Ouch, I suspected that.
And if I remember correctly, fglrx doesn't work if KMS is enabled for
radeon (radeon.modeset=1).
Can you confirm this?

We may want to install a file with xf86-video-ati at
/etc/modprobe.d/radeon-kms.conf containing:
options radeon modeset=1
