I've pushed a fix for my problem (numeric IP address). I had forgotten to
remove Gary's patch to avoid the segfault. I guess I did most of my testing
before I pulled that change.
Gary reported troubles with nts3-e.ostfalia.de
It works for me in a quirky sort of way.
